This is relatively gentle, however, and anesthesia is rarely necessary. Without this step, optimal bonding of the soft composite material won’t occur. Once placed, the resin is smoothed and shaped to cover imperfections. A special light hardens the dental bonding material. After polishing and buffing have transpired, you’ll leave the office with an amazingly natural, translucent, bright, white smile.
